Visual Arts

Art is in my blood and some part of my life for as long as i can remember.  From early pastels, to current acrylics and oils- and everything in between,  is not only a cathartic vehicle for expression, exploration, and education but an integral part of  creative and unique design work.  My work has been seen through out south Florida and beyond, as well as featured in many newspapers, magazines, and publications.

Events/Art Curation/Collaboration

Events.  I love bringing together different groups of people and working with all types.  One of my passions and hobbies is creating eclectic events.   I have curated gallery events, parties, as well as raise donations and awareness for non profits including The Renmen Foundation (a non profit organization that is 100% volunteer based group that deals with recuperating and schooling needy and underprivileged children and families in Haiti) and Drag It Out (a non profit fundraising drag troupe that  teaches workshops, supports three charities).

The group was having their  first event, and needed a web page designed with the details of the events, and links to registration form.  After consultation with and my suggestions, we identified that not only a webpage was needed, but a website with a blog feature for updates.  I worked on graphic design, implementation, and training for WordPress as a content management system, social media marketing systems, email marketing, and branding of all systems for ease of use and target audience.

Tri fold brochure w/die cut

Tri fold brochure with die cutThis project was completed during my Bachelors program.  Tri fold brochure.  Cover is a die cut, inside pocket with insert cards of various heights.  Photography, direction, and design.

Concept- 2 page ad

Concept ad project completed during Bachelors programs.  Idea behind the project is to using a two page ad format to show a history of an item and use it to advertise for a particular company.  Subject: the history of beer, from the Egyptians who made the first beer, to the present ‘Heineken’ beer ad.
